GCI gave the 21st and 22nd floors at 101 Mission a major makeover for client Vanbarton, working with Huntsman Architecture to transform a dark, tight space full of storage boxes and air-handling units to a bright and breathtaking spec suite.
When see the sweeping views of the Bay from the new 2-story windows, it’s hard to believe what the “before” looked like. The build-out involved moving multiple HVAC units that were supplying the entire building to the roof in order to open up the space and make way for the new windows. Installing the smash-proof panes on the top floor of the building was a feat in itself.
