Making Invention Accessible at Quirky

Quirky, an invention and product development company, recently engaged GCI to help turn a 1920s motor works factory in San Francisco into a 21st century design, prototyping, and manufacturing facility. The key elements of the project, built within a fast-track schedule, included the installation of a fixed-axis CNC machine, two industrial-grade 3D printers, an injection molder, an electrical engineering lab, and a full prototyping woodshop. The completed space now acts as a showcase for Quirky and promotes its mission of making invention accessible.
