Bonneville Bay Area is made up of four FM radio stations which each hold a special place in local culture. 96.5 KOIT has been the city’s contemporary music leader for generations. 99.7 NOW (KMVQ) features high-profile personalities like the Big Bay Morning hosts, Bennie and Greg. 102.9 KBLX delivers “R&B and Old School,” a beacon to the East Bay community for four decades. And 98.5 KFOX is the South Bay’s destination for classic rock and San Jose Sharks Hockey.
It was time to give this iconic institution a home that lived up to its legacy, so Bonneville brought on GCI and V Three Studios to build a state-of-the-art broadcast facility in Daly City.
The space includes multiple on-air broadcasting, production, and editing studios as well as a tech operations center. The adjacent office space features enclosed private offices, an open workspace, and a flexible huddle room that doubles as an event venue.
So the next time you turn on the radio, remember this behind-the-scenes peek and the Bonneville team that’s making the magic happen.
